What can I do in Portugal? - fish sticks native americans
Since I am a poor student on a tight budget, so most of a holiday kind of hiker. I keep seeing all these bars and golf clubs, none of it interests me. Is it possible to travel for cheap on the tour? I love just walking through the places and experience in a natural way to do it and live it. I do not want in a place where every store sells eggs and bacon and fish n chips stuck eventful. Nor will I with my girlfriend.
What would you recommend? Of course, we will spend a few days on the beach, but I am sure that not all has to offer Portugal. You will probably fly to Lisbon, I think

When I travel not to go on a budget, to the restaurants. I do what the locals do - to buy food in supermarkets, not the mother and family tents. I understand that you are in the United Kingdom. If money is tight, a place to visit to view home - Scotland, Wales, Ireland, France. All these places have different cultures and can have a good time and save money. If you are in England, then visit England.Anyway is now a good time to travel before the end of the recession, and start things cost more.
Porto is great! Some good beaches, night life, having, hot summer, it's romantic Old Town, the city is beautiful, amazing ... See photos! The River Douro is impressive, very nice and quiet.
Then you also have nice places such as the Algarve (main beach), Lisbon (the capital), Coimbra (where ancients University in Portugal), the city of Braga (), the Church, the birthplace of Guimaraes (Portugal, the first capital), .. .
I am Portuguese and I know of Lisbon. I recommend that the island of Madeira and the Azores. No better place in Portugal. Madeira and the Azores islands, so it is not on the continent, but it is impressive, the people are good ... Things to know before making a final decision. Visit Tavira on the Algarve. The island in the beautiful, is the Portuguese-long beach camping great. I also recommend the Azores or Madeira

Visit Porto can go into tourism that will get you around Porto and only 10 euros a person takes (takes 2 days) in Porto, you can go to the beach, clubs, visit the Ribeira, which is really beautiful and one of my favorite places in Portugal, the food is very cheap. In Porto there is a wealth of history and people and generally pleasant. And I remember that there are not many shops with bacon and eggs, and so on. The shops in Porto, especially in the Ribeira sell Portuguese products and things like that in Portugal.
Or go to the Algarve to drive from where most tourists. In the Algarve, there are not many beaches and numerous shops.
